Dhaka, December 17:
Bangladesh is all set for the Japan U-21 test in the Fifa
International Friendly at the Bangabandhu National Stadium at 5:00
pm on Thursday. Satellite television Channel 9 will telecast the
match live from the venue.
In the official
press conference held at the Bangladesh Football Federation on
Wednesday Bangladesh coach Saiful Bari Titu hooped to put a good show
while his counterpart Makoto Teguramori wanted to
cash in the experience in the Olympic qualifiers in the last match of
the tour.
Titu was confident
of putting a good show. “All my players are ready, Japan are U-21
team, my team is the national side, the experience and maturity of the
team will help us to fight it out, all I hope that my players will
compile with the plans and I emphasize on the counter attacking
football” said Titu.
Makoto Teguramori
said he looks forward to cope with the competitive atmosphere. “I
feel the competitive environment, I started grooming the team as U-20
side and all the players have the goal of playing for the national
side, Takumi Miranimo, Shoya Nakajima, Yuwa Kubo and Musahi Suzuki are the key
player in the attack, I hope they will do their jobs efficiently, and
I also thank Bangladesh for inviting us and for the warm
hospitality” said Makoto.
Bangladesh skipper
Mamunul Islam and Japanese captain Ken Matsubara were also present on
the occasion.
The Japanese side
enjoyed a full fledged practice session under the lights at the match
venue in the evening.
