Dhaka, February 26: Sheikh Russell sealed a semifinal date with defending champions Sheikh Jamal with a 2-0 victory over Chittagong Abahani in the third quarterfinal of the Federation Cup at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Thursday. 

Russell's Nigerian forward Kingsley Chigozie hit the side post in the 25th minute with a fierce side volley, Forward Zahid Hasan Emily curved the cross for Kingsley. 

In the 30th minute Emily set Yusuf Sifat free with a back header in the middle of the bix but Sifat placed the ball over the crosspiece. 

Russell went ahead in the 41st minute. And it was an Emily- Chigozie combination again. Emily's low cross was chested down by Chigozie and he hit the far post net with a upward placing shot (1-0). 

Cameroonian midfielder Paul Emile put Russell on a the two goal cushion in the 57th minute. Taking a Mithun Chowdhury square pass in the midfield the strong midfielder blasted home with a powerful shot from 30 yards (2-0)
