Dhaka,  April 8: Rahmatganj j held Abahani to a 2-2 draw in the Manyabar Bangladesh Premier League at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Wednesday. 

Abahani took the lead in the 57th minute when Nasirul Islam ran down the right flank and curved a low cross to Hungarian forward Czabolic Zorba who placed the ball into the far post (1-0)

However the duration of the lead was just a minute as Nigerian forward Gideon Solomon drilled a low shot from the left edge of the box after defender Sumon Dey cut a neat through from the midfield (1-1)

Abahani took time to absorb the blow and started to hit back with counterattacks. Nasir was instrumental again in the 72nd minute as he curved a cross to another Hungarian Gabo Damien and he headed the ball home from a close range (2-1)

Abahani defence faltered in the stoppage time when substitute forward Mannaf Rabbi’s cool placing past Abahani goalie Ziaur Rahman saw the match tied (2-2)
