Dhaka, May 05: Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sanghsad KC sank Abahani Limited 1-0 in the Manyavar Bangladesh Premier League at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Tuesday.
 
Senegalese forward Camara Sarba put Muktijoddha ahead in the 12^th minute of the match. Defender Mohiuddin Ibnul Siraji curved a cross from right to unmarked Camara who headed the ball into far post. (1-0)
 
Camara also had a chance to double the lead when his placing shot was saved by Abahani’s goalie Ziaur Rahman diving to the right.
 
Forward Wahed Ahmed of Abahani squandered a chance to level the score. Midfielder Shahedul Alam Shahed sent a long ball to Wahed who chased it but failed to put the ball past having one on one with the Muktis goalie  Titumir Chowdhury.
 
Abahani also were close to level the score when forward Wahed header landed on the top of the net on a cross of midfielder Imon Babu in the 61^st minute.    
 
After this win, Muktijoddha took their tally to 16 points from 8 matches while Abahani remained their previous earning of 13 points from 7 matches.
