Dhaka, May 20, 2015: Sheikh Russel KC was held to a 1-1 draw by Rahmatganj MFS in the Manyavar Bangladesh Premier League at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Wednesday.
 
Russel forward missed a penalty in the 33^rd minute as Rahmatganj goalie Md. Al-Amin punched the spot kick for a corner. The penalty was awarded when Rahmatganj defender Mushfiker Uddin fouled Cameroonian forward Poul Emile in the box.   
 
Rahmatganj were close to score in the 63^rd minute when Nigerian forward Gideon Solomon placing shot was saved by defender Rezaul Karim from the goalline.
 
Kingsley Chigozie squandered another chance in the 65 minutes as the Nigerian shot wide having the open net.
 
In the 72^nd minute Ameli saw his header went wide on a cross of winger Yousuf Sifat from the left.
 
However, Ameli broke the deadlock through a penalty in the 90^th minute. Rahmatganj defender Saeedur Rahman brought down Paul Emile in the box. (1-0)
 
Mannaf Rabby restored the parity in the injury time. The wily forward netted the ball from a goal mouth melee. (1-1)  
 
With this draw Russel earned 20 points from 10 matches while Rahmatganj earned 9 points from 10  matches.
