Dhaka, June 28, 2015: Abahani Limited edged past Rahmatganj MFS 3-2 in the Manyavar Bangladesh Premier League at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Sunday.
 
Osei Morrison opened the score line for Abahani in the 15^th minute of the match. Nigerian forward Sunday Chizoba sent a square pass to Ghanaian forward Morrison who placed the ball into the net. (1-0)
 
Nigerian forward Sunday Chizoba doubled the score in the 19^th minute with a placing shot from the box, the ball fed by midfielder Shahedul Alam Shahed. (2-0)
 
Rahmatganj came back into the match in the 35^th minute when their substitute midfielder Md. Sohel took a sudden left footed shot from the top of the box and the ball hit the far post net. (2-1)
 
Abahani extended their lead in the 40^th minute through a penalty. The Nigerian forward Sunday was tackled downed in the box by Rahmatganj defender Sumon Day and referee indicated the penalty. Sunday converted the spot kick. (3-1)        
 
Nurul Absar sent back another goal for Rahmatganj in the 50^th minute. Defender Mamun Mia brought down midfielder Didarul Alam in the box referee whistled for spot kick. Forward Nurul Absar convered the spot kick. (3-2)   
 
Abahani was reduced to ten men in the 83^rd minute when Atikur Rahman Fahad was sent off by referee with the second yellow card.
 
With this win, Abahani earned 20 points from 11 matches while Rahmatganj remained with 9 points from 11 matches.
