Dhaka, July 16: Brothers Union staged a superb comeback to beat Muktijoddha 3-2 in the Manyvar Bangladesh Premier League at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Thursday.
Muktijoddha took the lead in the 13th minute with Guinean forward Camara Sarba heading a Siraji corss into the near post from the middle of the box (1-0)
Kester Akon of Brothers Union equalized in the 18th minute pouncing on a cross of defender Krishnopod (1-1)
Muktijoddha were on the top again in the 34th minute when Faisal Mahmood curved a cross to Camara who headed it home (2-1)
However Kester AkonÂÂ again leveled the scoreline ÂÂ in the as he placed a rebounder of Augustine Walson into the net in the 78th minute (2-2)
In the injury time Md. Rony sealed the win for Brothers UnionÂÂ with a solo effort (3-2)
Brothers Union have 28 points from 15 matches while Muktijoddha have 21 from the same number of matches.ÂÂ
