Dhaka, July 29: Team BJMC beat Rahmatganj 3-1 in the Manyavar Bangladesh Premier League at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Wednesday.
BJMC took the lead in the 49 minute when Faisal Ahmed cut ÂÂ a cross from the left flank and Nabib Newaz Jibon ÂÂ headed home from the right corner of the box(1-0)
The lead was extended in the 66th minute when Nigerian forward Elita Kingsley headed the second goal with a close range header (2-0)
Rahmatganj reduced the margin in the 89th minute with Krishna Kumar slotting home on a cut-back of Md. Helal (2-1).
However the two goal cushion was re-imposed when BJMC forward Mehedi Hasan Topu headed a corner into the far corner of the net (3-1)
Team BJMC now have 15 points from 17 matches while Rahmatganj have 14 points from the same number of matches.
