Dhaka, August 27: Bangladesh crashed out of SAFF U-19 Championship conceding a 4-3 defeat in the shootout in the second semifinal at the ANFA Complex on Thursday.

The stipulated time ended goalless and the match direct went to shootouts where India prevailed.

Shahbaz, Rohit Kumar, Gusimat Singh and Daniel scored for India while Lalram and Sharthak Gouli missed. For Banglasdesh Mashuk Mia Johnny, Rohit Sarker and Mannaf Rabbi hit the back of the net but Md. Ibrihim, Md. Emon and Rahmat Mia failed.

India will face hosts Nepal in the final on August 29. Earlier Nepal edged past Afghanistan 3-2 in the first semifinal.
