Dhaka, 13 September 2015: Feni were crowned as the champions of the Sailor U-15 National Football Championship beating Narayanganj 2-0 in the final at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Sunday.

Naryanganj forward Md. Ibrahim let his team down in the very first minute when he found Feni goalkeeper Md. Yakub at his mercy but shot straight to the keeper.

Feni were close to a strike in the 22nd minute but forward Nurul Absar’s shot was saved by Narayanganj goalie Antar Kumar who dived to his left.

Nurul Absar broke the deadlock in the 41st minute. Forward Abdullah Abrar Rajon took a shot from the top of the box, Narayanganj goalie Antar kumar failed to grip the ball properly and willy Nurul Absar tapped the ball into the net (1-0)

Feni doubled the lead in the 54th minute through their midfielder Sarowar Hossain. Captain Iftekhar Hossain Konic’s free kick was fisted away by goalie Antar Kumar, Sarowar scored the goal with a powerful shot from the rebounder. (2-0)

Narayanganj were reduced to 10 men in the 85th minute when defender Arafat Hossain sent off showing direct red card.

Feni were awarded Taka two lacs as the champions while Naryanganj received Taka one lac as the runners-up.

Nurul Absar of Feni and Rani Das of Narayanganj were awarded Man of the final.
