Dhaka, October 30, 2015: Chittagong Abahani Limited won their maiden trophy beating the East Bengal Club 3-1 in a thrilling final of the Sheikh Kamal International Club Cup at the MA Aziz stadium on Friday.
Nigerian striker Eleta Kingsley netted his second brace of the tournament to enable Chittagong Abahani to come from behind and take the lead. Eleta also set up Hemanta Vincent Biswas for the third goal.
East Bengal took the lead in the 11th minute through defender Avinabo Bag. The right-back took a shot from just outside the box and his effort deflected off Chittagong defender Rezaul before sneaking into the top right corner. (1-0)
Sohel Rana denied the visitors from doubling the lead when the defender cleared Mohammad Rafique's header off the line in the 27th minute.ÂÂ
Forward Eleta Kingsley restored the parity in the 45+1 minute with a header on a curved cross of Mithun Chowdhury from the left. (1-1)
Eleta netted his second to put the hosts ahead nine minutes after resumption. Mithun failed to connect a free-kick from Zahid but the Nigerian was there near the far post and he placed the ball into the net in the 54th minute. (2-1)
Hemanta bagged his first goal of the tournament to extend the lead three minutes later. Eleta sent a superb lob which Hemanta converted with a header. (3-1)

The eight participants are divided into two groups. The top two teams from each group will move on to the semifinals.
