Dhaka, December 29: Bangladesh has been grouped with defending champions Malaysia in the 2016 edition of Bangabandhu Gold Cup scheduled to be held at from January 8^th Dhaka and Jessore.

Group A comprised Bahrian, Maldives, Cambodia and Bangladesh U-23.

Group B consisted of Malatsia, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

Finance minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith was the chief guest of the draw ceremony.

BFF president Kazi Salahuddin and other members of BFF and the dignitaries of sponsor organizations were also present on the occasion.

 The final will be held on January 20th at Dhaka.
