Dhaka, April 15: Nigerian forward Ahmed Kolo Musa slammed the third hat-trick of the KFC Independence Cup steering Muktijoddha to a 3-0 win over Uttar Baridhara at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Friday.
Ahmed Kolo Mousa put Muktijoddha ahead in the 17th minute when he headed a Towhidul Alam cross that was curved from the right flank( 1-0).
The tall Nigerian added his second in the 32nd minute when he took control of a headed back pass of Baridhara’s Nigerian defender Sylla Mohammed and made no mistake to chip the ball over the onrushing Baridhara custodian Md. Razib (2-0)
Kolo Musa completed his treble in the 55th minute with a gentle tap from a handshaking distance after a shot of his attacking partner Towhidul Alam was punched by Rajiv but fell into the path of unmarked Nigerian (3-0)
Muktijoddha kept their semis hope alive with nine points from four matches, Baridhara completed their group A campaign failing to earn any points from five matches. ÂÂ
