Dhaka, September 19: The Bangladesh U-16 national women’s football team was accorded a grand reception for the feat of winning the group C of the AFC U-16 Women’s Championship Qualifiers at the Hotel Sonargaon on Monday.

Four conglomerates of the country Gemcon Group. Saif Globe Sports, Caldwell Developers and SS Solutions provided monetary awards to the 23 players of the squad as well as the head coach, and the two assistant coaches. Gemcon Group and Saif Global Sports, a subsidiary of Saif Powertec provided Taka 50 thousand each to every players and the coaches. Caldwell handed over Taka 25 thousand each while SS Solutions declared a monthly allowance for every player for one year.

BFF president Kazi Salahuddin, Kazi Inam Ahmed, the director of Gemcon Group. Tarafdar Md. Ruhul Amin of Saif Global Sports, Khairul Mazid Mamun of Caldwell Developers and Ms. Sarjin of SS Solutions handed the awards. BFF ex-co members were also present on the occasion.
