Bangladesh ready to face Bhutan test

Dhaka, October 9:Bangladesh faces Bhutan in the away match of the AFC Asia Cup playoff-2 at the Thimpu at 6:00 pm BST on Monday.

Bangladesh will have to fight the 7000+ feet altitude, the artificial turf as well as the vocal home crowd to keep their record of not losing against Bhutan in any international fixtures till date. However Bangladesh can draw inspiration from the fact they beat Bhutan 3-0 in the SAFF Championship last year and it remains as their last victory in the international arena.

Bangladesh coach Tom Sainfeit admitted the challenges. “ We have a big battle tomorrow against Bhutan to win the match and top qualify to play in the next final round. It is slightly difficult about tomorrows match because Bhutan Team is developing & progressing more than before. Bhutan have some good players like number 7 Chemcho and 4 Dorgi can danger for us.

“Bangladesh only have altitude problem but hope we will overcome, weather turf is not a problem for us ” he added.

“We need a draw only to qualify but Bhutan is in big Pressure in front of home Crowd, We are very positive for doing the result. No Injury Problem at all, But the absence of Emon Babu is a great loss for Bangladesh hope we will make it up.

Torsten Spitler, the German coach of Nepal said, “We will fight until the last Minutes, 50-50 Chances for both the team to win the match. Bangladesh have many talented players to make the difference in the match.
