Dhaka, December 31: Soccer Club Feni beat Muktijoddha Sangsad 2-0 at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Saturday to throw the relegation battle of JB Bangladesh Premier League into a play-off.

Sharan Hawladar put Feni ahead in the 49th minute and Twum Frank struck the second in the penultimate minute of the match.

The win saw both Feni Soccer and Uttar Baridhara earn 18 points from 22 matches at the bottom of the table.

The teams will now have to play a two- legged play-off to decide who will be relegated and who will continue to fight in the Bangladesh Premier League.

BFF are yet to declare the dates of the play-offs.

Muktijoddha finish their campaign in 5th position with 30 points from 22 matches.
