Dhaka, February 22: Shaheen Asmayee FC of Afghanistan has rode on the treble of their prolific marksman Amiruddin Sharifi beating Nepalese football club Manang Marshiandi 3-1 in the Sheikh Kamal International Club Cup on Wednesday.
The first match of the 4th day into the group stage at the M.A. Aziz Stadium saw Amiruddin set the trail ablaze with goals in the 38th, 65th and 77th minutes.
Manang’s Bimal Basnet scored the consolation goal for his team at the 72nd minute but could not change the fate of the squad.
With the win Shaheen Asmayee FC opened their account with three points while Manang remains in the table with previous three points.
Both the teams have played two matches in Group B.
