Dhaka, March 2: The preliminary rounds of ‘U18 National Football Championship 2017’, organized by the Bangladesh Football Federation, will start in 8 regions in the country from March 9, 2017.

In total, 65 teams will participate in the nationwide tournament, and the first round will consist of 64 teams. There will be 63 teams from 63 districts of the country.

The other two teams – Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Pratishthan (BKSP) and a team from Jessore Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board will have to face off in two home and away matches in order to get a place in the first rounds. The winning team from the home and away encounter will win a place in the first rounds of the tournament.

On March 3, 2017, team BKSP will face the team from Jessore education board in their home match that will take place at 3:30pm at field No.3 in BKSP. On March 5, 2017 the team from Jessore will play their home match against BKSP in the same field at 3pm.
