Dhaka, July 25: Bangladesh Championship League (BCL), the second tier football league of the country, will kick off on August 4, 2017.

The kick off date of BCL 2017-18 was reaffirmed at a meeting of the BFF Professional Football League Committee on Tuesday.

The committee also confirmed that ten clubs will fight it out through the season for the BCL trophy.

The meeting, attended by representatives of the participating clubs, was presided over by BFF Vice President Abdus Salam Murshedy.
