Dhaka Jan 10: New powerhouse Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club Ltd. stumbled to their second draw in the three matches when Chittagong Abahani held them in a 1-1 draw in the match of the Grameenphone Bangladesh League at the Cox’s Bazar Stadium on Monday.

In the other match of the day Muktijoddha SKC returned to the winning ways with a 1-0 victory over Arambagh at the BSSM Mostafa Kamal Stadium.

Serbian player Dragan Perisic scored the goal for Dhanmondi outfit in the 17 minutes while Chittagong Abahani’s Dhiman Barua leveled the score at the 50th minute.

Defender Rajani broke the deadlock for Muktioddha in the 32th minute from a rebounder when Arambagh goal keeper Munna failed to hold a powerful free kick of Argentine defender Luciano Ariel Theiler from the left flank and Rajani made no mistake to tap the ball in.

Sheikh Jamal got five points from three matches while their opponent Chittagong Abahani opened their point table from the same match.On the other hand Muktijoddha obtained six points from three matches with two win and one defeat while Arambagh has just one point from the same number of matches.
