Dhaka, July 11: Bangladesh Ansar  and VDP retained the title of the National Women’s Football with a 4-0 win over Naryanganj in the final held at the M.A. Aziz Stadium Chittagong on Monday.

Nubai Ching Marma, Aung Mra Ching Marma, Rupali Chakma and Jahanara Akhter scored the winners in the 5th, 10th, 53rd and 62nd minute respectively.

The champions were awarded a purse of Tk. 50000.00 while the runners-up team received Tk. 25000.00 respectively.

Aklima Khatun were declared as the best player while Aung Mra Ching Marma was the highest scorer with 13 goals. Kishoreganj received the Fair Play Trophy.

Shamsul Huq Chowdhury, MP distributed the prizes as the chief guest. BFF vice president Monjur Hossain Malu, the chairman of the BFF’s Women’s Football Committee Sirajul Islam Bachchu, AFC member Mahfuza Akhter Kiron, Divisional Women’s Sports Association vice president Lily Aziz, Chittagong DFA president Syed Shahabuddin Shamim were also present on the occasion.
