Dhaka, July 12:  Sheikh Russell drew 1-1 with Dhaka Mohammedan to throw the group B of the Grameenphone Super Cup in a complex situation at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Tuesday.

With the draw Dhaka Mohammedan finished their group fixture with two points while Sheikh Russell will face Muktijoddha in the last match of the group on Thursday.

Muktijoddha who drew 2-2 with Mohammedan has one point and the outcome of Muktijoddha and Sheikh Russell match will decide the top two of the group.

Tohidul Alam put Dhaka Mohammedan up in the 5^th minute curving the ball in the left hand post of Mamun Khan from a free kick from the top of the box in the 5^th minute (1-0).

Guinean forward Ismael Bangoura equalized in the 44th minute from a close range after going past the Mohammedan defence with a solo effort (1-1).

Both the team wasted a couple of chances in the later stages of the match.
