Bangladesh beat Lebanon 2- 0

Dhaka, July 28: Welcome to Bangladesh and Bangabandhu National Stadium. The second leg of World Cup qualifier between Bangladesh and Lebanon is about to commence. The kick-off time is 6:00 pm (BST).

The first leg was held at Beirut Camille Chamoun Stadium on July 23rd. Lebanon won 4-0. Hassan Maatouk 16', Mahmoud El Ali 27', Ali Al Saadi 55', Tarek El Ali 64' were the scorers.

20 min- still goalless, Bangladesh pressing hard but Lebanon defending is solid

25 min- No change of scenario, teams looking for loopholes. Bd defender Arif gets an yellow card

30 min- BD makes road in the Lebanon defence, Jahid's back pass, Mithun floated the ball over the crosspiece from the  inside edge of the box

31 min- Bangladesh makes first change, Jahid out, Shakil in

40 min- Lebanon looking a little bit tired, Bangladesh however cant go past the opposition defence, BD midfielder Raju shown a yellow card for a rough charge on Khodre Salameh

41 min- BD midfielder Mamunul tries a 20 yarder but it sails over the crosspiece

End of First half- Bangladesh was the dominating side, Lebanon rarely threatened Bangladesh but Bangladesh attackers lacked the instinct to score a goal, plenty of drama in the two minute added time.

Emily fed Raju in the right flank of the Lebanon box, Raju shoots but the ball went wide, in the counterattack Mahmoud El Ali finds BD goalie Mamun alone but Mamun dives into Ali’s feet to save his team

Tthe first half ends goalless.

52 Min- GOAL.Bangaldesh scores. Shakil sneaks through the defence and feed Mithum a nice through pass. Mithun shots to Elias Frieje,the Lebanese goalie punchs the ball but Mithun places the rebound into the net (1-0)

57 min- Lebanon on the attack. Hamze Abboud's through pass to Mahmoud el Ali, BD goalie Mamun Khan comes forward and closes the gap and dives to send the ball to safety

58 min- Bangladesh's second change. Pranotosh out, Abdul Baten Komol in

65 min- Lebanon trying to pile pressure, Bangladesh defenders having a hectic time, Zakaira Charara substitued, Molhammad Hammoud comes in Bangladesh also makes the last change defender Reza comes out, Nasir takes his place

69 min- Bangladesh attack. Midfielder Shakil cuts a ball behind the Lebanon defence Raju's quick drive from the top of the box fisted away by Freije

73 min- Mahmoud el Ali misses a goal. Capitalizing an fumble of defence Ali dashes through the midfield but Shujon cuts the line of the ball and Ali's placing hits goalie Mamun's hand and sets a corner

78 min-Nasir dances down the right flank, cuts the ball back to Mithun, Emily shots but goes straight to Freije

80 min- Lebanon substitution. Akram Moghrabi out, Zouhair Abdallah in

82 min- Mahmoud El Ali unfortunate again. his placing from the middle of the box but rolls outside the sidepost,Mamun was beaten while coming forward

87 min- BANGLADESH GOES TWO UP. Komol curves a nice cross form the right hand flag and Emily heads it past Freije in the near post (2-0)

90+ Lebanon substitution. Matouk Hasan out, Imad Miri in

The match is over Bangladesh wins 2-0. However Bangladesh fails to go through the next round as the match aggregate is Lebanon-4 Bangladesh-2. However the victory will provide Bangladesh stimuli to go forward. Thanks Again
