Promotion of Arg-Nig match starts

Dhaka, August 7: Bangladesh Football Federation introduced Apon Communication as the promoting agent of the high profile Argentina-Nigeria FIFA International Friendly Football Match scheduled to be held at Dhaka on September 6.

In a press briefing held at the BFF House on Sunday, Apon Communication presented their plans and programs designed to promote the high profile match. A total of 20 billboards had already been displayed at different important locations across the capital and another 100 is on the process of installation.

Apon Communication has taken the initiative to show the match live in 60 locations across the country with giant screens sized 100 X 60 feet. They have planned to include 35 to 40 districts in the plan. In the capital TSC, Mall Area, Rabindra Sarobar, Uttara Friends Club field, Dhupkhola field, Kamal Ataturk Avenue, Banani field, Jatiya Press Club and the Rajarbagh Police Line will also see the giant screens presenting the match to the crowd.

In addition to their giant screen plans Apon Communication will also arrange an Art and Photography Competition on 9th August, a quiz competition through newspaper and mobile phone on 20th August, installing players cut outs beside the roads on 23rd August, decorating the islands and the road lights form 24th August, a road show form Teknaf to Tetulia on 20th August and setting tri-vision in the different important locations on September 2nd.

Anwarul Huq Helal, the chairman of the Argentina-Nigeria FIFA International Friendly Match organizing committee was upbeat with the initiative. “The Argentina-Nigeria match is the biggest sporting event in the history of Bangladesh sports and we want it to be shared by all, people all over the country will be enjoying the match live and we welcome Apon Communication for coming forward” said Helal.

Apon Communication CEO Ruhul Amin Bhuiyan, Adviser A.K.M.Aminul Haque, FCA, and chairman Aljhaj Abdur Rahman Tapan were also present on the occasion.
