Dhaka, August 15: Bangladesh Football Federation paid homage to founding father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman commemorating the 36th anniversary of his death on Monday.

On the fateful night of August 15 in 1975, first president of the country Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman along with most of his family members were killed by some disgruntled army officers.

BFF arranged a Quran Khwani, prayed for salvation of the departed souls, fed the poor people in its premises.

Awami League presidium member and former state minister for youth and sports Obaidul Kader, MP visited the BFF House and met BFF president Kazi Salahuddin. Many of the BFF executive committee members were also present on the occasion.
