Dhaka, August 21: The Argentine inspection team led by assistant coach Julian Camino declared Bangabandhu National Stadium, the main venue of the match fully fit apart from a few required renovations after inspecting the venue on Sunday.

The Argentine assistant coach was accompanied by Pernas Oscar Alberto and Martin Rodrigo the two Argentine Football Association technical officers. Dharamdutt Pandey, CEO, Celebrity Management Group and Bhaswar Goswami, the director was also in the inspection team.

The team arrived at Dhaka from Kolkata  in the morning and entered the Bangabandhu National Stadium premises at 2:15 pm.  Accompanied by the Bangladesh Football Federation officials the inspection team headed towards the Fatullah Stadium, the proposed practice venue.

Martin Rodrigo, later stepped up to talk with the press. “The match is on, we confirm that Lionel Messi and company will be in Dhaka on due time” said Rodrigo.

The decision regarding the Fatullah Stadium was not finalized and the inspection team said they will finalise it later.

The Argentine inspection team was scheduled to leave Dhaka in the early hours of Monday.
