Dhaka, September 28: Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club kicked off their Walton Women’s Football League with a convincing 4-0 win over Dipali Jubo Sangha at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Wednesday.

The Dhanmondi outfit whose all eleven players have the experience of playing in the  national team took the lead in the very 3rd minute through national forward Sabina Khatun. Sharmin Akhter Rupa doubled the margin in the 10th minute and Aung Mra Ching Marma added the third in the 20th minute. Sabina netted her second one in the 71st minute.

Shajahan Khan, the Minister of Shipping inaugurated the meet as the chief guest. BFF president Kazi Salahuddin, Women’s wing chairman Sirajul Islam Bachchu, deputy chairman Mahfuza Akhter Kiron and Iqbal bin Anwar the deputy director PR and Media were also present on the occasion.
